After a few weeks, a workspace holds many agents, teams and workflows. Folders keep it readable.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Agentivity running, with the Studio open.
Where folders are
Section titled “Where folders are”Three lists have folders, each with its own:
- Studio > Agents, for agents and teams;
- Studio > Workflows, for workflows;
- Resources > Data Tables, for data tables.
- Resources > Knowledge Bases, for Knowledge Bases.
In each list, the panel on the left shows the folders. A folder also appears as a line of the list, with Folder in the column Type.
Create a folder
Section titled “Create a folder”- Open one of the three lists.
- At the top of the panel on the left, select the folder button.
- Type the Folder name, for example
Finance. - Select Create.
Put something in a folder
Section titled “Put something in a folder”Drag a line of the list onto the folder, in the panel on the left.
To move several lines at once, hold Ctrl (or Cmd on a Mac), select the lines, then drag them.
Look inside a folder
Section titled “Look inside a folder”- Select the folder in the panel, or select Open folder on its line.
- The house button, at the top of the panel, goes back to the top level.
Sub folders, rename, delete
Section titled “Sub folders, rename, delete”Select the three dots on the line of a folder.
| Entry | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add sub folder | Creates a folder inside this one. |
| Rename | Changes the name of the folder. |
| Move to root | Takes the folder back to the top level. |
| Delete | Deletes the folder. |
Be careful with Delete: the Studio warns that “The folder and all its contents will be permanently deleted.” Move what you want to keep out of the folder first.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A folder changes only where something is filed. An agent in a folder works exactly as before, and a team can still use it as a member.
- In the list Members of a team, the agents are grouped by folder.
- A good first set of folders is one per department or per subject:
Finance,Support,Marketing.
Next step
Section titled “Next step”Back to Find your way around the Studio.
