What Agentivity is

Agentivity is a platform to build and run AI agents, AI teams and workflows, without writing code. You describe a need, you build what handles it, and you run it. This page explains what the product is made of, before you install anything.

Most AI tools answer a question. You still do the managing: you ask, you check, you correct, you ask again.

Agentivity is for work that must arrive finished. You build a solution: something a person launches to get a need handled from start to finish. For example, a solution that reads a supplier invoice, checks its figures and files it. Or a solution that writes a payment reminder and waits for your approval before anything is sent.

BlockWhat it is
AgentOne AI specialist with a role.
TeamSeveral agents that work together on one request.
WorkflowSteps drawn in advance, run the same way every time. AI works only in the steps you choose.

To choose between them, read Choose between an agent, a team and a workflow.

  • The engine. The program that runs your agents, teams and workflows. It runs on your own machine or server, with Docker.
  • The Studio. The visual editor, in your browser. This is where you build, run and follow everything. See Find your way around the Studio.
  • The Assistant. A part of the Studio that builds for you. You describe what you need in your own words; it asks questions, shows a plan and builds a draft that you check and save.
  • Ready-made solutions. Four showcases that you can import and open, to see how a finished solution is built.
  • Install it yourself. The Community edition is free. It runs on your own machine or server, with Docker. See Install Agentivity with Docker.
  • Use a hosted workspace. You sign up on the site, you get an address such as yourname.agentivity.app, and you work in your browser. There is nothing to install. It starts with a 14-day trial, without a card. It comes with sign-in, people, roles and an area of Administration. See Start a hosted workspace.
  • A machine that runs Docker if you install it yourself. Your own computer, or a server. A hosted workspace needs none.
  • An AI model. Agentivity does not provide one. You connect the provider you use, for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, with your own API key. The provider bills you directly.

With the Community edition, your agents, teams, workflows, tables and settings are stored on your machine. With a hosted workspace, they are stored in your workspace, which Agentivity runs, and you can export everything in one file. What an agent sends to the AI model goes to the provider you chose, under that provider’s terms.

  • Not a chatbot. You do not talk to one general assistant. You build specialists with a role, and you organise them.
  • Not a model provider. You bring your own model.
  • Not only a service. You may use a hosted workspace, or install the Community edition yourself. See What the Community edition includes and Plans and their limits.
